What We Believe
Our Mission Statement at West End Baptist is Glorify, Edify and Testify. We are to Glorify our Lord, Edify the Saints, and Testify to a lost and dying world. This statement holds true to our community, but also to our state, country and the world. Our Faith Statement is We Believe. We believe that God has a purpose for every person, and through His leadership, God is using our family to direct others to faith in Jesus Christ. We are a Christ centered faith family who’s goal make disciples that take the message of Christ love throughout the world. To make an impact for Christ in all we do. We are a a fellowship that stands firm on the Word of God. Our worship is lead to reach multiple generations. From the youngest to the oldest, there is a place for you in ministry and mission.

Our History
Since 1949, West End Baptist has been in the people business. Since our first meeting as "Branch Sunday School in the "Tiger Grill Building" and the “Lime Cola Bottling Company”, but the mission has always been the same... reach people for Christ. For over 70 years, God has used our West End Baptist Family to impact our community, our state, our nation and our world. Today through our Audio/Video Ministry, our services are shown via the internet all over the world.
Though our location has changed from our first meeting, our goal is still the same. To help people grown in a living relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that having Jesus in your life not only makes your life better, but makes you better at life. Through the leadership of Holy Spirit, our staff and our family at West End Baptist, God is using West End Baptist Church to make a difference in the world. Come experience West End.
