Prayer Rooms at West End Baptist.
The Intercessory Room : This room focuses on praying for friends and family at West End Baptist, the inactive members, the lost and home bound.
The Pastors’ Intercessory Room : We have pictures of most of the pastors in Chilton County and pray for them, their families and their churches.
The Missions Prayer Room : We focus on prayer for missionaries around the world praying along with the WMU Mosaic Prayer Calendar. We also pray for our Local Missions as Mission Trips our church are involved in.
The Praying for America Room : We pray for our nation, for our President and Vice President, for our Military our Local Government, Elections as well as world needs.
The Children Intercessory Prayer Room : We focus prayer for our children and youth. For the problems they face daily. their schools and their homes.
In 2001, God placed a ministry on the heart of West End Baptist. God has blessed this ministry and we have seen it grow in the family of West End, but also in fellow churches. We have 5 prayer rooms in the Worship Center. As people have toured our facilities, these rooms draw a great deal of attention and it is wonderful to share what God leads us to do weekly. Each Sunday we have people that enter these rooms during our services to pray for specific needs.
We believe prayer is a critical part of anyone who is a follower of Christ. In following the example Christ set for us, we understand communication with God is important. God has led our prayer team to lead us as a church to a deeper prayer life, and those who are part of this ministry can attest to the power that is felt in prayer.
Our Prayer Team is a vital part of many ministries at West End Baptist. These are some of the areas they lead us in.
Special prayer focus for V.B.S.
Special Wednesday prayer night for our Christmas and Easter Worship Services.
Mission Offerings : Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, Myers/Mallory State and Disaster Relief Offering, National Day of Prayer, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
We also have several ways for people to share their prayer request. prayer request forms in our Sunday Worship Guides, during Sunday School request are taken and sent to our prayer rooms. Calls to our church office, and also our Prayer Box outside in one of our parking areas. You can also share a prayer request by filling out the form below.
